Since he won the European Poker Tour Main Event in London, 23-year-old David Vamplew became a sensation in poker circuits and he is now even more popular after winning the UKIPT 2010. Vamplew is now one of the hot names in poker circuits and he is expected to continue winning important tournaments.
The Metropole Hilton in London was the host of the UKIPT poker tournament and many professional poker players from the United Kingdom signed up. In this tournament, the winner takes all and Vamplew managed to beat all the other players and claim the prize while showing his poker skills.
In the final game of the night, David Vamplew and Jamie Burland were the last players standing, but the Scottish showed that winning the EPT Main Event in London was no coincidence. As part of the prize, he won a free ticket to be part of the second season of the UKIPT, including a seat in the Grand Final of the European Poker Tour.
Jamie Burland commented after the game that Vamplew really played a good game and, although he recently won the UKIPT Brighton, he was not able to defeat the young poker player. Vamplew started playing live poker tournaments in 2010 and previously he had only played in online tournaments.
